For the General Election 2017, Brunel University London has been assigned as the vote-counting base for the following constituencies:
- Uxbridge and South Ruislip
- Hayes & Harlington
- Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner
We were joined by Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell, MP Nick Hurd and Foreign Secretary and MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip Boris Johnson as the events unfolded. Our Journalism students were live broadcasting on breaking news, chairing round-table discussions and there to direct questions to those attending on the night via Facebook and Livestream on the 8 June.
