International scholarships

Brunel has a range of scholarship packages and works in partnership with several scholarship organisations and bodies including Chevening, The Commonwealth Scholarships and Santander Mobility Awards. We offer more than 100 scholarships every year to help international students. Some awards are worth up to £6000 a year to help partially fund university fees and living costs.

In 2017 Brunel offered over 400 scholarships to Home and International students. A similar programme will be available in 2018, full details will be released shortly.

The MBA scholarship for January 2018 is now open. Submit an application by 18 December 2017 to be considered.

MBA Scholarship (part-time) 20 in total £8,560 tuition fee waiver for applicants from the Corporate sector and £10,700 tuition fee waiver for applicants from the Public sector.

International Excellence Scholarship   £3,000 or £1,500 tuition fee waiver for year 1, depending on when you apply.

The International Excellence Scholarship for September 2018 is not yet open.

Country specific scholarships

Selected countries: Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Turkey, USA, Vietnam.

£2,000 or £6,000 depending on the country.

The Dedicated Country Merit Scholarship for September 2018 is not yet open.

Brunel Santander International Scholarship

5 £3,000 tuition fee waiver for year 1 only.

The Santander Scholarship for September 2018 is not yet open.

Dean’s Occupational Therapy Scholarship Awarded to all those that meet the eligibility criteria £3,000 tuition fee waiver per academic year. International applicants will be invited to apply directly by the Admissions tutor and should provide a 500 word essay explaining why they would be an excellent ambassador for both Brunel and their chosen profession. The personal statement should be sent to the Admissions Tutor within 10 days of being invited to apply for the scholarship.
Dean’s Physiotherapy (Physical Therapy) Awarded to all those that meet the eligibility criteria £3,000 tuition fee waiver per academic year. International applicants will be invited to apply directly by the Admissions tutor and should provide a 500 word essay explaining why they would be an excellent ambassador for both Brunel and their chosen profession. The personal statement should be sent to the Admissions Tutor within 10 days of being invited to apply for the scholarship.
Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship Awarded to all those that meet the eligibility criteria 15% tuition fee discount No application, the fee waiver is applied automatically

Brunel- Colciencias research agreement

Awarded to selected scholarship holders from Colombia. 20% discount on the cost of PhD fee's.

This scholarship is available to Colombian citizens wishing to study a PhD degree at Brunel University London. Priority areas include: Engineering and Nanotechnology; Humanities and Social Sciences; GIS and Environmental Sciences; Biodiversity; Health Sciences.

 

Commonwealth Scholarships

17 Commonwealth Scholarships are available for those applying to ACU member institutions in Bangladesh, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Mauritius, Pakistan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, and at the University of the West Indies.

 

Full tuition fees, a return economy flight, an arrival allowance, and a regular stipend (living allowance).

Rotary Scholarship 

The Rotary Scholarship programme (graduate overseas study) is one of the largest privately funded scholarship programmes in the world.

 

Scholarships are generally for one year of study and around US$30,000.

 

Students must be studying on a course that fits under one of Rotary’s six Areas of Focus and awarded for study in a different country. To find out more and apply  visit the Rotary Foundation website

 

Brunel Graduate Discount

We have always offered a reduction in PG tuition fees for our alumni. Our students who take up postgraduate education could be eligible to receive the '15% graduate discount'.

The Graduate Discount will not apply if you receive the Brunel International scholarship, Brunel Santander International Scholarship or Brunel International Regional Scholarships. Please refer to the individual scholarship terms and conditions for further information.

In addition self-funding students who pay their fees in full by enrolment are also entitled to a prompt payment discount of 2%. Additionally Brunel Alumni are entitled to an Alumni discount of 15%.
